Old Christ Church League Annual Dinner and Meeting, Saturday, February 18, 6:00pm
Join us at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 6th Street and S. Central Ave., Laurel, DE. The public is cordially invited to the annual dinner and meeting of Old Christ Church League, which is charged with the mission of preserving and protecting this historical treasure. Social Hour begins at 6:00 p.m., dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m., followed at 8:00pm by Dale W. Clifton, Jr., director of the DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum in Fenwick Island, DE. He will speak on maritime archeology, including discussion about some of our most famous local shipwrecks. Tickets are $20 per person. Old Christ Church
A.D. 1771
We worship in this historic structure from June through September on the first Sunday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
The building, which dates to 1771, is one of only about a dozen churches on the Atlantic coast that predate the revolution and have never been painted, plumbed, or electrified. One steps into another dimension of time when one crosses the threshold of OCC.
Old Christ Church is the mother church of St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Laurel, Delaware.
Directions:
The church at the corner of Chipman's Pond Road and Christ Church Road. From US Rte. 13, turn east on Rte. 24. Just past the American Legion building (on the right) is Christ Church Road (on the left). Turn left onto Christ Church Road and the church is at the end of the road directly in front of you. Park on the grass or on the side of the road.

Sunday Services
Regular Sunday services are held on the first Sunday of each month, June through September, at 10:00 a.m.

- November, Annual Thanksgiving service
- Special Service of Advent Lessons and Carols, Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. The music will be provided by the Southern Delaware Chorale Ensemble. Dress warmly.

Old Christ Church League
Old Christ Church League is a non-profit organization founded to support the preservation of Old Christ Church. Members give tours after each service when requested. The church is funded almost entirely by donations. The League maintains and operates the building and arranges Sunday services every summer. New members interested in supporting the work of Old Christ Church League are always welcome.
Old Christ Church League is a 501(c)(3) organization.
