Dr. Brian D. McLaren was our keynote speaker and preacher.

McLaren is the author of several books including A New Kind of Christian, The Story We Find Ourselves In, The Last Word and The Word After That. He was the founding pastor of the Cedar Ridge Community Church outside of Baltimore, Md. Since 2006 he has traveled around the world speaking and teaching about a fresh understanding of Christianity referred to by some as the Emergent Church.
